EFFECTIVE TIME MANAGEMENT TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL PROJECT MANAGER



Manage your time well it is very necessary to any of the person. To be a successful IT project manager, you must be able to manage the time well. The project managers know that the task should be done on time and deadlines. So, here some best time management tips for project managers:
·         Attacking plan: create a plan to attack in the least possible time. When create a best plan create smart goal, measurable, specific, attainable, realistic and timely.

·         80-20 rule: the rule of 80-20 is the doing 20% of the work produce and 80% of the benefit of the work as whole. So the project manager focuses the 80-20 rule for managing the time well.

·          Focus on team during team: Avoid team meetings these meetings are less value and waste of time. So spent time of team meetings in focusing in issues, risks, and opportunities, and use the team to brainstorming solutions and create innovative ideas.

·         No micro managing: Avoid involving into the detail of work. Project managers must have selected the right team for the job or the project and direct the  team in the right way . Project managers only concentrate on steering the project to a successful conclusion.

·         To-do list: Creating a daily to-do list will help the project manager remain on task and focused on achieving objectives.
